There are two types of cats in this world: those who have tried sudo !! and those who are lying about not knowing what it does.

I discovered sudo on a Tuesday. By Wednesday I had accidentally restarted the production database three times. By Thursday I had learned what sudo su - does. By Friday I was the problem.

The truth is, power isn’t about having root. It’s about knowing when not to use it. A wise cat once told me this. Then she walked across the keyboard and deleted the home directory. Respect.
